I am a Gasser, “Lil’ Critter”, 1949 Anglia , small block Chevy, Borg Warner T-10 trans, Olds rear end, 1/4 elliptic rear springs w/ ladder bars, Anglia front axle. I was built in the early to mid 60’s. Raced at the old KAW Valley drag strip in Topeka KS and surrounding area.
I was stored for 25 years, brought out of storage and put back on track. Ran at the St Louis ’99 Gateway Gasser Reunion and several national nostalgia events since then. ‘Country Rat’and I are close friends and we both were born in the same town to be Gasser of the 60’s. Today we both live in the same retirement home and both still like to go to the track now and then. We have both won best unrestored race car trophies at events which we proudly exhibit at the retirement home
